The AOX package adds the most downforce
Of the six configurations, the AOX package gives the largest downforce increase in LES too.
The car from our track study, run again in AOX LES to show how the air moves around it.

LES absolute values are still being certified. Every comparison here is between configurations run with the same grid and settings.
The AOX optimisation solver is built for speed. It compares shape candidates quickly and picks the one that works best.
LES, large-eddy simulation, answers a different question. It follows the air as it changes over time, so you can see the smoke, the streamlines and the wake behind the car.
Here we take the Porsche 992 GT3 from our track study and run it again in AOX LES.
Smoke rendered from the LES time-averaged field and turbulence statistics. A visualisation, not the instantaneous flow itself.
Centre-plane streamlines and 3D smoke, seen from the side.

Six configurations. One grid. One set of settings.
We ran six configurations: no rear wing, the stock wing, the ADRO wing at −5°, 0° and +10°, and the AOX package. The downforce results point the same way as the track study.
Of the six configurations, the AOX package gives the largest downforce increase in LES too.
The front share of downforce with the AOX package is 41.2% in LES. The track study reports about 41%.
Setting the ADRO wing from 0° to +10° raises downforce by 82%, with everything else unchanged.
For rear wings, the change in downforce from AOX LES agrees well with the wind tunnel. See the DrivAer hp-F rear wing study.
